Summary
Background: Rural communities are more and more affected by problems due to garbage. Besides other factors this is due to a lack of knowledge on how to handle, classify and recycle different kinds of garbage. Another problem is the lack of garbage cans in strategic locations.
Specific Activities: demonstrations on how to handle and recycle garbage, collection - classification - and recycling of garbage together with the whole community, construction of garbage cans with local/recycled materials.
